ThinkerMagazine is an online magazine containing articles of a wide-ranging subject matter such as physics, politics, philosophy, economics and mathematics. It aims to discuss issues of general interest, to share the work of critical thinkers and to inspire young minds. ThinkerMagazine was created by Winston Yin and John Chan on June 5, 2012.
John Chan（陳楚傑）is a 17-year-old residing in Hong Kong. He attended St. Paul’s Co-educational College and is now a Year 1 student at Li Po Chun United World College. He is studying the International Baccalaureate Diploma, for which he takes English Literature, Chinese Lang. and Literature, History and Economics as his higher subjects. For the past two years, he was a regular columnist of the South China Morning Post (Young Post). He enjoys a variety of academic disciplines, and in particular social sciences. He takes a special interest in international politics, law and economics.
Winston Yin（尹維晨） was born in Hong Kong 18 years ago. He attended SKH Tsang Shiu Tim Secondary School and graduated from Li Po Chun United World College in 2012. He finished the International Baccalaureate program with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as his higher subjects. He is enrolled in Mellon School of Science, Carnegie Mellon University as an undergraduate freshman. He has a particular passion in the natural sciences, focusing mainly on physics and mathematics. For the past 4 years, he regularly translates Wikipedia articles from English to Chinese. He also greatly enjoys music, languages and philosophy.
